Goodmans Digital Camera Driver
Goodmans G-SHOT 2025 TFT
This driver is unverified, but it is taken from the official cd. If this driver does work, please contact me at crackshot1980@yahoo.com
This was taken from the original install CD, it has been a nightmare to
get hold of the drivers, so when I finally came across a CD with the
drivers on, I had to put it up on the web for others.
Downloading the drivers
There are four versions of the driver, choose depending on the operating system you have.
If you have windows ___, then download the drivers here and follow the instructions on how to install the drivers.
The driver file will be a zip file (see below) and named as follows:
Windows XP driver file name - WinXP.zip
Windows 2000 driver file name - Win2k.zip
Windows 98 driver file name - Win98.zip
Windows ME driver file name - WinME.zip
Unzipping the drivers
The files are packaged up in a zip folder to compress them (so you have a smaller download).
If you're using windows XP, then you will have an easy time. Windows treats the zip files as a folder, so you can skip this bit!
To unpack them in windows 2000, 98 or ME, double click on the file you've just downloaded and it will open a WinZip program.
Click the Extract button at the top of the window and click on the C:\ drive. Make sure that the "Use Folder Names" tick is checked.
This will give you a folder with the same name as the driver file you downloaded. (e.g. c:\WinXP\ for Windows XP)
Installing the drivers
The install procedure will vary by small amounts depending on the operating system you have installed.
For windows 98 and ME, the install procedure can be found on the Microsoft web page here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/142984/en-us
For windows 2000 and XP, the procedure is below.
There are TWO PARTS to the installation process, one that installs the Digital Camera and one that installs the Video Camera. If you have windows XP, then you might have to install the drivers for the MP3 player too.
The difference between installing the digital and video camera is in
step 9 below. If you want to install the digital camera, click on the
digital camera. If you want to install the video camera, click on the
video camera. If you want to install the MP3 player, click on the WDM
driver (I think).
Installing the drivers - Windows 2000
Installing your drivers is simple, I'm going to assume that you've got
windows 2000 for the time being. Follow the instructions and at the end
you should be able to use the camera with windows.
